Fructosious Facts!!
Fructose is a natural sweetner but high fructose corn syrup is a manufactured version that is very bad for you. Fructose is a sugar that is found in regular soft drinks. Small amounts, like what are found in fruits and vegatables, is good for your body. Fructose can also be bad for your body, though. Most of the fructose-caused problems are blamed on high fructose corn syrup. High frustose corn syrup is the form of fructose that is in soft drinks such as Dr. Pepper and Root Beer. Some fructose induced problems are heart disease (but you would need a LOT a lot of fructose for that), or obesity. If you are trying to lose wait, try cutting back on things that have high fructose corn syrup in them. It should be listed with the ingredients. But not everybody has to be worried about fructose. If you don't need to use it, wait, and fructose to you is just a funny word, like it is to a lot of us, then you don't need to worry about any of this stuff! Fructose is a word that has endless joking possiblities, so have fun with it!! This site isn't to raise fructose awareness (but it is helpful in that area), it's for having fun!!
